awesome tourist points in Pakistan

Hunza Gilgit, Pakistan
Pakistan, being one of the largest Muslim countries of the world, is home to the different civilizations of the world. Though currently Pakistan is infamous for some extremist activities but its natural beauty and tourist attraction is worth more than this all. Unlike other countries, Pakistan is facing a very difficult time nowadays being involved in terrorism, which has disturbed the livelihood of every .It is not happening in every corner of Pakistan but there are few places which have put the whole country in trouble. Just the few questions I want to raise here. We Pakistanies were living a better life than now just before the incident of 9/11-the incident which history recalls with red lines.. We just believed blindly in whatever our media said. But the question is, did we have any proven evidence about 9/11?  Have we ever tried to stop for what happened after 9/11? Has USA ever shared the evidence with its International community about how it happened with twin towers? Though there come a lot of questions but let bygones bygone and make yourself ready for the forthcomings keeping past experiences and lessons in our minds. “the more you go through the troubles, the most these will make you ready to face problems without any fears”. Since the inception of Pakistan, there have been a huge number of difficulties that our country is consistently facing and now rather it has fallen into a vicious circle. The intriguing thing is that we are surviving with those difficulties and nothing can stop us to go further and make improvements.

Apart from all these stuff, I will discuss a part of positivity in our country. The part of positivity, of which every Pakistani folk is fully proud and every citizen of the country is optimistic about the country they owe. Due to which there is a flight of hope in everyone’s heart that one day they would get their Pakistan in the condition where they could live their lives very cozy and happily.
There is a saying goes by MiCheal King “if you have a little extra parking, I err on the side of getting rid of it in favor of having some more greenery.”
Pakistan is overwhelmingly known for the natural beauty it has. There are various places in Pakistan, of which many people are aspiring to visit in, which really depict the positive image of our country. We had seen many exotic people rushing into our country just to get rejoiced over here by sightseeing the beautiful areas in our country. It doesn’t only happen in summers but same case goes in winters too. People from different vicinities visit Pakistan to see snow capped mountains and areas like northern areas of Pakistan. Pakistan is a land of varied and unique landscape. While high mountain ranges dominate its North, series of low mountain ranges of Suleman, Pub, Kirthar and Mekran extend from North to Southwest and to South in a bone like manner. These low ranges dominate the plains and deserts to the East and warm and captivating beaches of the Arabian Sea to the South. It is, however, Northern Pakistan which is endowed with most unique geographical feature in the world. It is here that the three great, lofty and spectacular mountain ranges, Karakoram, Hindukush and Himalayas meet. In an area of about 500 kms in width and 350 kms in depth, is found the most dense collection of some of the highest and precipitous peaks in the world, boasting more than 700 peaks above 6000 metres, and more than 160 peaks above 7000 metres.

These include five out of the total fourteen above eight thousand metre high peaks on earth, namely the second highest rock pyramid - the K-2 the killer mountain Nanga Parbat, the Hidden Peak, Gasherbrum I, the Broad Peak and the Gasherbrum II. There are 99 mountain peaks in Pakistan, height ranges from 22966-28267feet, including K-2-the second highest mountain of the world. Around 70 of these mountains are present in the list of world’s top 150 highest peaks.  Most of these peaks are already climbed by foreigners but there are few which are unclimbed yet because the difficulty and the steepness of the mountains; for example as mentioned above that “the killer mountain-NANGA PARBAT” is one of the most dangerous mountains to climb. Yet there have been many attempts but it led them to death. These all mountains go snowy in the winter season and get greened in the summers which display a very eye resting scenario for the viewers. This enormous mountain wealth makes Pakistan an important mountain country, offering great opportunities for mountaineering and mountain related adventure activities. The area is aptly called a paradise for mountaineers, adventure seekers and nature lovers. The compelling charm of these high challenging and endless sea of rugged rock and ice pinnacles lure large number of climbers, adventure seekers and nature lovers from across the five continents to the Northern Areas and Chitral, each year.

Apart from its natural beauty, the diversity of different civilizations also attracts people towards itself. People come here to know the different civilizations of Pakistan which thrived back in many hundreds of thousand years. The cultural plus archaeological tourism has found in Taxila, Harrappa, Moenjodaro. The early Muslim heritages are in Multan and Lahore. For hundreds of years, Silk Road remained the only trading way between the central and the south Asia. The Karakurum highway(KKH), which connects Pakistan with china via the northern areas of Pakistan, has given a very great opportunities to rest of world to explore the unspoiled beauty of Gilgit-Baltistan and its different cultures altogether with many central Asian countries.

The places which are termed as tourist sites in Pakistan are Gilgit, Chital, Kaghan Valley, Peshawar, Multan, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Islamabad, Skardu and Swat.
There is no match of Pakistan’s glaciers and mountains with any other countries of the world. Gilgit-baltistan, including valleys like Hunza and Iskurdo, has the greatest number of glaciers and mountains including the world’s number second highest mountain and i.e K2. And this has played a great roll in proliferation of the different cultures of Pakistan in the whole world.
Gilgit is also famous for the sports and more because of the very enthusiastic game polo it plays. Many overseas people come to watch this particular match in its season. Hunza, so called paradise on the earth is located among the green and snow bounded mountains. It’s also famous because of the natural diet-the people use. And this connects KKH to China and thus it’s also called as the heart of KKH.

North Pakistan
Picturesque Kaghan Valley is famous for its height, Saif ul Muluk lake and the Naran valley where it is situated.  These are the only popular scenic spots of this valley. Karachi-being the metropolitan city of Pakistan is well equipped with seaports and it also owes a variety of attractions. It is combination of many different civilizations. It is the only commercial and industrial hub Pakistan. There are many historical monuments which attract many tourists towards it. For example, Mosque of Toba, mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam-where the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam lies, national museum where you can get ancient relics of Indus valley and a good collection of different civilizations art.

Lahore is the old city of Pakistan with its unique history. There one can find many historical points and the very oldest university. The Moghal fort is the only place in Lahore where one can see many architectural phases of Moghal umpire. Hiran Minar and Harappa are also very fascinating places for the tourists to visit. Harappa, revealing the ancient cultures, now just left a cradle of one of the earliest civilizations. Nevertheless, Pakistan site areas are also famous for the hospitality towards their guests.

Overall, Pakistan is one of the most fascinating areas of the world. Pakistan is gifted with the overwhelming beauty and the ultimate diversified societies. Unfortunately the socio-economics, socio-political and contemporary circumstances of our country have made this all gifted nature just worthless. In spite of these worst situations we still see a lot of foreigners in our country searching for adventures. If in future Pakistan will invest some of its budget in Pakistan’s tourism development then of course it will not only create a good image of our country abroad but it also overcome its economical crisis to a great extent.
